Napthens commercial property team expands

Solicitor Alex Walsh has joined the commercial property team at Napthens solicitors.

Alex joins from a Preston law firm, and has also spent time working at a niche practice in Manchester and with an international firm where he specialised in social housing and property finance matters.

At Napthens he will advise on all aspects of commercial property legal work ranging from landlord and tenant issues, acquisitions and disposals to development, property finance and estate management.

Alex is experienced in advising a range of clients including sole traders, SMEs, owner managed businesses, PLCs, local authorities, banks and charities.

He is familiar with development matters including conditional contracts, option agreements and overage provisions, and has considerable experience of large-scale property charging transactions. Alex will work closely with Mike Fetherstone, commercial property partner at Napthens, who said: “Lancashire has a strong property sector.
