North West law firm Napthens solicitors has announced its latest intake of trainees.
Scott Bennett, Amie Harrison and Paul Atherton will spend time in a number of departments to gain experience across the business as they prepare for a career in law.
Amie is currently working with colleagues in the Litigation team on issues including property issues, contractual disputes and contested inheritance claims.
Scott is working alongside the Employment & HR team on a variety of issues including involvement with the firm’s HR3 offering, a service which allows employers to manage their employment risks.
Finally, Paul, who steps up from his previous role as a legal assistant within Napthens’ Residential Property team, began his training contract earlier this year. He is currently gaining experience in the firm’s Wills and Estates Planning department.
Helen Lucking, partner at Napthens, said: “Our trainee scheme is a successful one – we always receive a lot of interest from potential candidates and our trainees go on to have fulfilling careers. We are looking forward to supporting Scott, Amie and Paul as they begin their journey as trainees.” Meanwhile, three of Napthens’ former trainees have now qualified as solicitors with the firm. Charlotte Thornley, within the Corporate team, Chris King of the Employment team and Stephanie Gray of the Commercial Property team have all reached the end of their initial training contracts with the law firm.
