Motorpoint earns retailer top spot

Burnley-based Motorpoint has been named the UK’s number one independent car retailer by Motor Trader.

Motorpoint was singled out by analysts at Motor Trader for its customer centric ethos together with its outstanding sales performance.

This news comes as Motorpoint gears up for further expansion. Motorpoint, which is located on Rosegrove Lane in Burnley, is currently finalising plans to open two additional sites in the next 12 to 18 months, creating in excess of 100 new jobs in the process, on the back of successfully opening of its seventh site in Birmingham earlier this year. Mark Carpenter, managing director of Motorpoint, said: “I am thrilled that we have been named to the UK’s largest independent car retailer by Motor Trader.
