There has been an explosion in commercial finance providers since 2010. A simple search of the internet will herald a multitude of funding options, particularly those which are noted as “alternative finance providers” under the headings of peer-to-peer lenders and crowd funders.

Is it debt or equity, is it asset finance or general working capital, should they take a loan or utilise a more flexible tool such as invoice finance?
