Blackpool-based chartered accountancy and business advisory firm, Moore and Smalley, has strengthened its healthcare services offering with the appointment of experienced accountant Nicola Edwards.
Nicola joins Moore and Smalley as an accounts senior from Lancaster-based Accounts Matters where she advised sole traders, partnerships and limited companies on tax and accounting matters.Nicola is also a former trainee accountant at Rawcliffe and Co chartered accountants in Blackpool where she worked while completing the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) professional qualification at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Nicola will be working alongside other experienced accountants at Moore and Smalley’s Blackpool office and will offer specialist accountancy services to the healthcare sector.Deborah Wood, who is a partner at Moore and Smalley and heads up the firm’s specialist healthcare services teams, said: “Our healthcare client portfolio has expanded during the past few years and it was important to find an experienced accountant that can help our clients through complex problems. Nicola will be a real asset to the firm.”
Nicola, who is originally from Blackpool, said: “Moore and Smalley has built a strong reputation for its high-quality work, and for valuing, developing and supporting its staff so I was over the moon to be offered the position.” Nicola qualified as an accountant from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2003 and became a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in 2008.Enjoyed this?
