Lancashire-based accountants and business advisers, Moore and Smalley, has revealed its best ever financial year for turnover and employee numbers.
The firm, which has offices across Lancashire, Cumbria, Manchester, Merseyside and East Midlands, has seen turnover rise 11 per cent from £12.8m to £14.2m, with staff numbers rising from 246 to 277, an increase of 13 per cent.
The firm, which also opened regional hubs in Manchester and Liverpool, cites the demand for specialist advice as a reason behind its growth, along with new services.
“We have also launched a new cloud accountancy service for small enterprises and the self-employed called SE+, which has resonated with digital savvy business owners looking to utilise new technology.”
“When I was elected managing partner, I wanted our foundations to be based on outstanding service, people development and close relationships between our clients and our people. “Everyone has really embraced these powerful principles and we are seeing progress across the practice as a result. More importantly, clients are receiving the advice they need to manage their business and financial affairs in what are still challenging times.”
