After several years of building in Blackburn and supporting the local community in the process, Homebuilder Miller Homes' Millrose development is fully sold as it makes plans to complete the final phase of homes.
Beginning with the Roe Lee Gardens development, then latterly bringing new homes to the area with Millrose, the homebuilder has been building in Blackburn for almost a decade. After a successful year despite industry challenges, Miller Homes announced the sale of its final home at the beginning of 2022, bringing the development to a close.
Since building homes at Blackburn, Miller Homes has supported the local community in a number of ways. It has frequently partnered with nearby Lammack Primary, donating tablets when pupils were asked to study from home, as well as funding Christmas parties and school competitions.
The homebuilder has also worked closely with Aid 4 Ummah, providing food parcels for the vulnerable, and has plans for this relationship to continue.
Miller Homes has supported various other community initiatives and organisations, including working with local care homes, and donating money to Blackburn Youth Zone to help fund the vital services they provide.
New homes are currently being brought to the Lancashire community by Miller Homes in nearby towns and cities, The Calders and Montague Place are located in Cliviger and Clitheroe respectively, and are both less than a 30 drive from Blackburn for interested local house hunters.
