Cummins Mellor Recruitment director Michelle Mellor has cycled the breadth of Britain in support of the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
Michelle started her challenging 140-mile journey at the Irish Sea on the April 25, crossing some of the country's most beautiful countryside and National Parks.She then rolled her way down to the North Sea traversing the Lake District, the Eden Valley, crossing the Northern Pennines and Durham Dales before dropping down into Tyneside on the 27th. Michelle completed the race in three days and said it was an “Absolutely brilliant challenge, very difficult in awful weather conditions we had but I’m extremely glad that I have done it for Rosemere”.
Michelle shared her epic journey with her friends, Jacky Godfrey and Phillipa McDowell, the cycle promoted awareness and sponsorship for the Cancer Foundation Rosemere which is based at the Royal Preston Hospital. Rosemere Cancer Foundation is the local cancer charity for Lancashire and South Cumbria raising funds for extra equipment and facilities.Michelle and gang continue their fund raising greatness with a charity ball planned to take place at Mitton Hall in mid-June.
