Media Village, a creative marketing and print agency in Altham, has made one of its biggest investments in print technology to date.
The brand new Jetrix KX7 D flatbed printer opens up a whole new creative realm for the print specialist team at Media Village. The Jetrix KX7 D offers a rigid board printing area of 2.44 meters x 3.06 meters, which is in addition to the roll to roll solutions the company already offers that enables print up to 50m long.
This machine offers a six picolitre drop size and the ability to print onto a practically unlimited selection of materials, up to 100mm thick at photographic quality. The extensive features of this machine will allow Media Village to extend into lucrative value- adding areas of work such as outdoor advertising for sports clubs and taking on more ambitious large scale print projects.
The Jetrix KX7 D flatbed printer is the next generation of wide format printing, making it ideal for Media Village to offer businesses high quality, large format printing turned around quickly to meet all deadlines.
The daily routine at Media Village consists of printing and designing banners, floor graphics, pop-ups, poster, traffic signage, wall graphics, perimeter boards and window graphics. However, the new machine allows them to produce these in a more cost effective and eco-friendly manner. As it removes the need for vinyl adhesive and laminate for each board, in result lowering the carbon foot print and waste.
This printer will allow the company to print on almost anything, from the everyday applications such as; board, glass, vinyl, acrylic to exceptional surfaces such as - entire doors, laminate floorboards and sport advertising boards.
