Blackburn-based MDA has been acquired by FTSE 100 firm Bunzl plc, in a move that the management team described as 'very positive' for both companies.
It celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, recording an annual turnover of £22m, and placing highly on both the Lancashire Business View Hot 100 and Fab 500.
Dale said: "MDA will retain its name, Blackburn offices and warehouses and there will be no impact on employment whatsoever. We have had a great start to 2013, already securing some new global clients and increasing our workforce by ten. This deal is hugely positive for both the MDA team and Lancashire. It's another great success story coming from the county."
