Maria Whiteman, the current managing director of Saga Holidays, has been appointed as managing director designate at specialist educational travel company, Next Generation Travel.
She will be tasked with helping the Blackpool firm achieve its ambition of becoming the UK’s number one educational travel group by 2023.
Following a series of recent acquisitions, the company now employs over 100 people and arranges educational visits for over 75,000 passengers each year.
