Galloways, a charity dedicated to supporting the sight loss community, is delighted to announce a collaborative event with the Charlotte Tilbury team from the Trafford Centre, Manchester.
Scheduled for the evening of April 16th at The Artisan in Ribble Valley, this unique occasion will provide an empowering experience for people navigating the challenges of sight loss.
To make this event a reality, Galloways is actively seeking sponsorship. The charity invites businesses and individuals passionate about fostering inclusivity to contribute to this transformative occasion. By securing sponsorship, Galloways aims to offer a unique opportunity for the community to nominate a special lady experiencing sight loss to attend this exclusive masterclass for free.
The journey of losing one's sight can be a challenging experience, often resulting in a loss of confidence and perceived barriers to engaging in various activities. Galloways is excited to work with the Charlotte Tilbury team and seeks to address these challenges by breaking down beauty and self-expression myths and barriers.
In tackling these challenges head-on, Galloways aims to foster inclusivity and accessibility within the beauty industry, ensuring that everyone, regardless of sight loss, can enjoy and learn about makeup.
The "Build Your Own Makeup Bag" masterclass is an interactive experience led by the experts from Charlotte Tilbury. This hands-on session is designed to empower attendees by providing them with the tools and knowledge to enhance their self-confidence through makeup.
Participants can enjoy this exclusive masterclass and will be welcomed with a glass of fizz upon arrival, setting the tone for an enjoyable, sociable evening and indulging in a delicious meal, creating an entire experience.
Chelsea Crossey, communications manager at Galloways, emphasises the profound impact of sight loss on one's confidence, stating: "Working with the Charlotte Tilbury team goes beyond the realms of makeup; it's about breaking down barriers, providing inclusive opportunities for all to feel confident and beautiful."
Chelsea, who is organising the event, is also gearing up to run the London Marathon to support Galloways. Every penny raised from this event will directly contribute to her fundraising pledge,
Iain Pearson CEO at Galloways also said: "I am thrilled to see this collaboration with Charlotte Tilbury come to fruition. It demonstrates Galloways dedication to fostering inclusive spaces where everyone, regardless of sight loss, can feel not only included but indeed empowered. Our mission has always been to break down barriers and create opportunities that enhance the lives of those navigating the challenges of sight loss. This event is a testament to that commitment, reinforcing the importance of self-confidence and self-expression.
