In a busy week of two major trade shows, What More UK took time out to attend the Housewares Innovation Awards – and picking up two awards made it a very worthwhile break from the exhibition stand!
The Lancashire-based plastic homewares and bakeware manufacturer was crowned highly commended in two categories: the Bakeware Innovation Award and the Service Award. What More UK Director Tony Grimshaw OBE is naturally delighted. Tony said, “What an amazing night. It means so much to us to pick up two accolades in the same evening in front of the movers and shakers in the housewares industry.
“For What More to be highly commended in the Service Award is an enormous compliment. This is the award that covers all aspects of our business and is based on feedback from our customers. What more could we ask for?“And for What More, who diversified into bakeware less than three years ago, to be picking up an award for our innovative PushPan range is absolutely marvellous. We’ve only been in the game for a short period of time and yet our products are up there with the big names in bakeware."
The awards ceremony, hosted by TV chefs The Hairy Bikers in the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, gathered together 650 of the best in the home enhancement business in the UK.Tony Grimshaw also took to the awards stage as a sponsor to present the Best Window Display Award to Potters Cookshop from Essex.
