Chorley based Magma Digital has begun its financial year at a record setting pace, doubling its turnover.
For the first half of the year (2019/20), the software and consultancy firm has seen turnover rise by 200 per cent and profit rise by 500 per cent compared to the same half last year.
The Buckshaw Village business specialises in bespoke software development and IT strategy and has been working with some of the UK’s biggest blue-chip firms.
Magma Digital employs some of the country’s top “Zend” qualified PHP software engineers and is recognised in the industry as a specialist in the field of change consultancy and transformation, twinned with bespoke software development. The firm works with clients including the DHL Supply Chain, Canal & Rivers Trust, Datix, Vita Cellular Foams and Recycling Lives.
Jeremy Coates, co-founder of the business and a director of Digital Lancashire, said: “We have had an incredible start to our new financial year, with sales figures up month on month. We are well on target for exceeding our forecast for the year.”
