Luxus Design doubles turnover in 2020

Preston-based interiors retailer Luxus Design has doubled its turnover throughout 2020 as the population, stuck at home during the lockdown, invested in their own properties.

Founded in 2018, it was a big year for the company which diversified by launching its Just Radiators, Just Baths, Just Bedrooms and Just Blinds and Shutters brands.

Dave O’Keefe, director, said: "Our ecommerce website for the Just Radiators brand enabled us to take the positives from the circumstances and capitalise on the boom in home improvements during lockdown.

"With people spending so much time at home and using refunded or unused holiday money to invest in their homes, even traditionally quiet months exploded this year."

He added: "We’ve invested in our online presence through effective digital marketing as well as offline marketing and PR. Vast investment has seen us develop the website functionality - both frontend and backend - whilst making sure we have the right team in-house to provide the best customer care. We’ve made sure our staff have received efficient training and focused on employee wellbeing."
