Burnley-based Low Carbon Energy is delighted to have been selected as the preferred commercial solar installer for Drax customers in the UK.
The partnership will see them collaborating to provide Drax’s customers with the means to reduce their energy costs and carbon by installing solar PV on their premises.
Benedict Ennis, business development manager at Low Carbon Energy, explains: “This partnership is the culmination of a relationship started over two years ago when we installed solar panels on a number of Drax’s offices. Since that time, we have worked with the team at Drax to refine our offer, providing industry-leading technology and service to help Drax’s customers on their journey to a zero-carbon, lower-cost energy future.”
Valpy Fitzgerald, director of renewables and sustainable commodities at Drax, adds: “We're pleased to be able to partner with Low Carbon Energy, who are experts in this field. This initiative represents another way in which we can help businesses achieve their net-zero goals and increase their green credentials. It allows Drax’s customers to generate more renewable power for their own use, meaning a lower carbon footprint and lower cost energy bills.”
Low Carbon Energy is responding to the demand for a more sustainable society by providing world-class low carbon solutions, including solar PV, battery storage and EV charging and asset management solutions.
