Lovell Homes has teamed up with Homes England to build Shawbrook Manor, a development of 200 homes to the south of Leyland.
The development officially opens on October 19 and is part of the government’s ‘Accredited Construction’ programme and will be built in less than 36 months as per the conditions of the scheme.
Once complete, the development will comprise a mixture of two, three, four and five bed homes and two-bedroom bungalows in a variety of different styles. Of the 200 homes being built on site, 60 will also be supplied as affordable housing, which will be overseen by Together Housing.
Anne-Marie O’Doherty, regional sales director at Lovell Homes North West, said: “We’re very excited to be working with Homes England on this site as part of our ongoing goal to provide much-needed housing for the North West.
“We’ve already received a lot of interest in the development and, with a number of reservations already secured, we’re looking forward to welcoming our first homeowners in the near future.”
All homes on the private market at Shawbrook Manor are available to purchase with the government’s Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme. Three new show homes will soon open.
