'Look mum, we made it!' StopPress on Freshies Shortlist 2025

We are buzzing to share some massive news with you! 

We've landed on the shortlist for the Freshies Notorious Newcomer category, and our co-founder, Mike Walker, has been shortlisted for Nifty Networker. 

Not too shabby for three Lancashire lads who kicked off with nothing but a dream and a fierce determination to shake things up, eh?

For those who don't know the Freshies (where've you been?), they're Lancashire's business equivalent of the Oscars.

Think black tie glamour, champagne clinks, and Rivington Barn turned into a glittering wonderland. It's the night when Lancashire business gets to polish up nice and show off a bit.

They're billed as the not for profit awards that give back...because they gave £20,107 to some amazing charities last year and aim to top that again in 2025.

Making the shortlist feels special because it recognises what we're all about - not just helping businesses tell their stories, but building something bigger here in Lancashire.

From working with Angel on her documentary filmmaking dreams to bringing the marketing community together through TMM meetups at Brockholes Nature Reserve, Strawberry Fields and more red rose venues in the offing, we're creating ripples that turn into waves.

Time to show them what Northern grit mixed with creative flair looks like in person. Then it's the big night at Rivington Barn on 20th June - let's hope for sunshine, baby!

Win or lose, we're made up with what we've built in our first year. To everyone who's been part of our story so far - from our brilliant mates (clients sounds too formal) to our growing crew - this one's for you.
