Members of the Craggs Energy team are set to embark on a 50 mile walk in under 24 hours.
The purpose of the walk is to not only challenge the team but to also raise money for two charities which mean a lot to the Craggs Energy team. An initial target of £1,000 has been set which will raise money for Watermark Calderdale and The Christie Charity.
With their Head Office neighbouring Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge the team at Craggs Energy witnessed first-hand the affect the Boxing Day floods had on their customers, staff and the local area in general.
Their other chosen charity, The Christie, is a leading expert in cancer care, research and education. The charity raises money for a range of projects with the aim to not only give their patients the best care and treatment possible but also work to support the patients families. All donations received will be split equally between the two charities, if you would like to donate you can visit Craggs Energy’s JustGiving page at www.crowdfunding.justgiving.com/craggs-energy-1 and follow updates via their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CraggsEnergy .
