The Litigation and Dispute Resolution team at Napthens solicitors has expanded with the appointment of senior associate solicitor Andrew Holden.
Andrew joins the Lancashire law firm from SGH Martineau in Birmingham, where he trained and spent over 10 years, becoming involved in several high profile and complex international cases.
A member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association (PNLA), Andrew specialises in commercial disputes, with a particular expertise in the education and energy sectors. In addition to his corporate and commercial experience, Andrew has developed niche specialisms in discrimination and public law.
Based at Napthens’ Preston office, Andrew will advise clients ranging from SMEs to large multi-nationals in relation to cases ranging from insolvency, civil fraud, corporate and commercial claims, professional negligence and pensions law to education, public procurement and administrative law.
Iain Wharton, head of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team at Napthens, said: “Andrew brings a great deal of experience and expertise to the team, with a true understanding of the sector. Our clients will benefit immensely from his appointment.”
Meanwhile, the team is also welcoming solicitor Kelly Mather, who joins the firm’s Blackpool and Fylde office following two years working at a large Manchester firm. Kelly will act on behalf of clients on matters relating to commercial contract disputes, professional negligence cases, rural property and agricultural disputes and regulatory prosecutions.
