Lingwood Security Management has registered with the Cross-sector Safety & Security Communications (CSSC).
The CSSC hub is a partnership between law enforcement agencies, local and national government organisations and private sector businesses.
The remit of the CSSC is to help businesses remain safe and secure by providing information that will assist them to develop robust resilience and emergency preparedness plans. This is achieved by delivering accurate, timely and authoritative messaging and information on an ongoing basis and in times of major incidents with far-reaching impact.CSSC operates across a wide range of sectors, with each headed up by one or more Industry Sector Leads (ISLs). Currently operational in London, Scotland and the Eastern Region, the project is set to expand across the UK in the future.
Since its inception in the run up to the London Olympics, the CSSC has sought to expand the initiative into all regions of the UK. This year they are seeking support from HM Home Office and the NCTPHQ to use their regional CT officers, to assist to set up CSSC hubs in the remaining regions, including of course the North West.Managing director Alan Lingwood said: “I’m delighted to join up with this national safety partnership and do what we can to get involved. Lingwood Security is working all over the country at any one time, with many projects located around the London area, so it’s vital to be at the forefront of communication platforms such as this. Given recent events, both in the UK and abroad, it is imperative that UK businesses work together to make our cities safer.”
