Leyland Hose and Silicone Services (LHSS) has opened an additional manufacturing facility in Hungary.
The company designs, manufactures and distributes high-quality silicone hoses primarily for use in the bus, truck, automotive, marine, rail, fuel cell and industrial markets.
The new 2,000 sq m facility near Budapest will allow the company to triple output which reducing logistical costs and delivery times, especially for its European customers.
Ian Walsh, sales director at LHSS, said: "This is such an exciting time for us at LHSS. The company has grown considerably over the last couple of years and to accommodate future growth and further support our European customers, an increase in product manufacturing capacity was required.
"This additional capacity will allow us to competitively serve new customers and markets. The new facility will also support the local community in Hungary by providing additional employment and career development opportunities."
