Preston-based Letting Locations, which trades as Guildhall Residential Lettings, has been acquired by Keenans Group for an undisclosed sum.
Letting Locations 350 properties under management. Managing director Robert Shields is being retained by Keenans on a consultancy basis following the deal.
Keenans is an independent, family-owned group operates 10 branches covering 115 postcodes. It deals with more than 2,500 sales and 400 lettings per year and employs nearly 100 staff.
Until now, the group has focused on Greater Manchester and East Lancashire, but this acquisition sees them venture into West Lancashire.

Matthew Catterall, a corporate partner at Blackburn-based Taylors Solicitors (pictured left), advised Keenans on the acquisition. Andrew Tabernacle of Bishops Chartered Accountants in Blackburn and Blackpool provided accounting and tax advice.
