The new office will be at South Rings Business Park, Preston. The team will be led by newly appointed director for the Lancashire region, Mark Delaney, who joins fellow director Mark Colman in spearheading the new operation.
The opening of the Preston office is part of the group’s wider national expansion programme, bringing its total number of offices to nine. The firm employs over 150 people nationally.
Mark Delaney said: “More SMEs are struggling with debt, Crown arrears and cashflow problems. Our new office will make our services more accessible to companies based not only in Lancashire, but also in Merseyside and Cumbria.”
Having started out as an insolvency practice, Leonard Curtis has extended its service to help directors of struggling businesses to retain control and continue trading, providing debt restructuring, cashflow management and factoring advice.
“Insolvency should always be the very last resort for companies experiencing financial distress and at Leonard Curtis we see it as our role to avoid this scenario wherever possible,” added Mark.
