An event for leisure industry businesses and experts from across Lancashire has been hailed a success by organisers.
The event, which was held at Stanley House Hotel & Spa in Mellor, included an exhibition which featured local businesses selling a range of products including cheese, drinks, cakes and fine foods.
The day also included a question and answer session with a panel which included Ruth Connor CEO Marketing Lancashire; Andrew Brown of Crow Wood Leisure; Judith Dugdale & Colin Hughes of Moore & Smalley Accountants on issues facing the industry.
Ian Settle, director commercial banking at NatWest, said: “It was great to see many leisure businesses and experts from across Lancashire come together and celebrate the fantastic work that is being carried out in the county. We had an excellent discussion on issues impacting leisure businesses and what resources are available to support their long-term business growth aspirations. “As a bank we are always open to concepts that show a strong business plan and cater to the needs and demands of the local area and consumers. We thank Ruth, Andrew Judith & Colin for their participation on the panel during the question and answer session, and Stanley House for their wonderful hospitality on the day.”
