Lea Hough is looking to take on graduate surveyors and year-out placement students as it expands its team across its Lancashire offices.
The firm of Chartered Surveyors has vacancies for two graduate surveyors who have recently completed a degree (or equivalent) in building surveying, alongside a year-out placement student that is currently studying for a building surveying degree.
The long-established practice, which has offices in Blackburn, Preston and Lancaster, provides core disciplines including building surveying, valuation surveying, planning and land development, architectural design and project management.
The firm’s workload covers a diverse spread across all types of property and the full range of building surveying services, alongside a specialism in the education sector.
Other key clients include commercial property landlords/tenants, developers, local authorities, care home providers, housing associations and private individuals.
Lea Hough has a track record of training and supporting Graduate Surveyors through the APC process, resulting in several surveyors qualifying as AssocRICS and MRICS Chartered Surveyors whilst working at the firm.
Job descriptions for both positions offer high calibre candidates: "a brilliant training opportunity, working in a great team environment directly alongside experienced Chartered Building Surveyors."
Paul Dignan, Partner at Lea Hough, said: “The right start can make all the difference in this industry. Graduates and year-out placement students that join our firm will not be ‘a number’ but will receive hands on experience across a wide range of building surveying tasks and project management work.
“Several of our Chartered Surveyors began their professional careers with us as either graduates or year-out students; demonstrating that there are great long-term prospects to the positions. We look forward to helping the next generation of future Chartered Surveyors to gain a full range of experience, assisting them in becoming Chartered and, in doing so, also become a great asset to our company.”
Interested Graduates and Building Surveying students are being urged to view the vacancies on the firm’s website and submit their applications.
