Lea Hough has added a further valuation surveyor to their survey and valuation team to support the current workload following an exceptionally busy period.
Dominic Brown, who has a background covering residential and commercial property valuation work, has joined the team to help meet the demand for valuation reports. The appointment comes following a strong period for the firm’s survey and valuation team, which celebrated the MRICS qualification success of two other members of the team earlier in the year. The team, which is led by Matthew Parkinson, is now the largest and most qualified it has ever been.
Currently working towards his APC, Dominic will follow Lea Hough’s highly regarding training programme and will hopefully become the next valuation surveyor to become MRICS qualified.
With valuation experience gained at another surveying practice, Dominic has a CV that covers various types of valuation and different aspects of property / land. Dominic’s professional experience also covers disposal/acquisitions matters and various landlord and tenant negotiations.
Matthew Parkinson, partner and head of surveys and valuations, said: “Survey and Valuation work is an important part of the firm’s everyday workload and the latter part of this year has seen a significant growth in demand for these services.
“Dominic’s mixed skill-set suits our practice as it caters for the different client sectors and various types of Valuations that Lea Hough undertake. We look forward to helping him along the way of his professional studies, which he will undertake whilst carrying out valuation work at properties across residential, rural, office and industrial sectors throughout the North West region.”
Dominic lives in Ormskirk and will be based at the firm’s Preston office at Euxton.
