Lancaster welcomes a new head of conference, events & visitor services

Helen Bastin has been appointed as head of conference, events and visitor services.

Until now, Helen has progressed her career in the private sector holding a number of senior management roles across a variety of industries, predominately in the Hotel and Hospitality Sector.

In her most recent leadership role, as head of specialist sales at Marriott Hotels, she was instrumental in transforming the profile and customer facing skills of her team of national account managers, enabling large commercial growth and increased customer satisfaction. Her achievements were recognised by Marriott globally with The Roger J. Dow Award for Sales Excellence, the first associate ever to achieve this outside North America.
