A Lancaster University project which engages employers with students has won an award for the Best University and Employer Engagement Strategy at the Institute of Student Employers Awards.
The recognises the FutureTalent strategy, which delivers a more tailored and strategic conversation with key graduate employer stakeholders. It is led by Tara Mclaughlin, head of employer engagement and recruitment services, and delivered by Careers and the Faculties.
Tara said: "Lancaster is proud of its distinctiveness and our engagement strategy ensures that our points of difference are made really clear to our key employer stakeholders. This award highlights that by listening to our employers’ needs, crafting our offer to help to connect them with our ambitious, aspirational and diverse students, they can recruit the very best future talent to grow and innovate their organisations.
"The small team of two - Nuala Lewis and Angela Bywater - have worked hard to build and maintain relationships with recruiters new to Lancaster University while continue to innovate and expand our engagement with existing employers."
