Lancaster University has retained the accolade of the ‘Best University Halls’ in the 2015 National Student Housing Survey.
Lancaster earned the title of ‘Best University Halls’ for the sixth year running since first participating in the survey in 2010. The survey measures levels of student satisfaction from over 200 UK institutions.Also this year, Lancaster achieved the ‘Best Customer Service’ and the ‘Best Moving in Experience’ awards, as well as being one of just six higher education providers to have gained the ‘International Accommodation Quality Mark’. This award recognises organisations achieving at least 90 per cent satisfaction among international students.
The National Student Housing Survey 2015 was carried out by Red Brick Research, an independent market research company which measured satisfaction levels in all types of accommodation. More than 22,000 students at over 200 universities and colleges from around the UK were surveyed.In-line with the University’s achievements, Lancaster Conferences will be carrying out a refurbishment on 32 guest bedrooms in September 2015. The 3* ensuite accredited bedrooms will be upgraded so that we can offer single, double or twin rooms to accommodate all needs. Our 3* ensuite rooms include toiletries, a hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. Car parking passes and Wi-Fi are also offered on a complimentary basis.
