Specialist rubber sheeting and rubber coated textile manufacturer White Cross Rubber Products is celebrating a trio of project wins that have taken its products across the country and overseas.
The firm has also been chosen to provide the product on a major project to line a series of service reservoirs on St. Helena in the South Atlantic Ocean, where they have so far lined over 26,000 square metres across eight reservoirs.
The manufacturer’s third project win sees its Petroseals rubber sheeting and coated textile products - hydrocarbon resistant materials that are virtually unaffected by fuel storage and atmospheric conditions - being exported and installed as floating seals in in above ground floating fuel storage tanks in China.
“As a company, White Cross Rubber Products have grown 12 per cent in the last year, year on year, with exports up 500% in the last three years, taking our product out to 25 countries across the globe.” White Cross Rubber Products work in a wide variety of industries, including producing rubber materials for flexible fuel tanks for F1 and IndyCar motor racing and storage containment barriers for the holds of Airbus planes, to the manufacture of pressure pads for multi-layer security cards and providing liquid storage materials for emergency drinking water and latrines for aid and refugee camps.
