More than 60 Lancashire-based business people met in Lancaster this week to receive up to date tips on digital marketing to help them compete and grow.
The seminar, held at the Storey Creative Industries Centre, gave attendees the opportunity to learn the fundamental business aspects of Twitter and Facebook, learning how to use modern customer channels more effectively. The event also provided businesses people from across the county with the opportunity to network and discuss their existing experience of using social media.
Guest speakers Nikki Hesford (Miss Fit UK) and Bruce Thomas (Modern English) provided case studies of how they have used social media to expand their client base, boost sales and create useful contacts.
The event was organised by Regenerate, an Accrington based economic development agency that offers county wide business support through its Lancashire Innovation Network service.
The next seminar, which highlights the potential of LinkedIn as a business tool, takes place at the Woodlands Conference Centre, Chorley on August 25.
