The Ripple Effect, the Lancaster-based charity supporting refugees in Europe, has visited the Greek island of Chios to deliver aid in person.
Having previously sent at least ten pallets of aid to the island, the charity purchased £800 worth of toiletries, such as shampoo and feminine hygiene products to supply to the refugees.
Carole Roberts and Julie Vallance, two of the charities founding members, then delivered the donations in person.
