Lancaster District Chamber of Commerce has announced the installation of its new president John Regan following its Annual General Meeting.
John, who has taken over the reins from immediate past president Angela Seel, said; “I am highly delighted to have been elected as president of the Chamber for the next two years. I look forward to working with the board and staff to provide better opportunities for our members.
"Working with our partners in local government and the universities we hope to see better business opportunities which will lead to more work places and greater prosperity to the people of the area.”
They, along with the full board of directors, will meet on a regular basis to review the activities and strategy of the Chamber to ensure it meets its objectives and to communicate the opinions and views of its members and that these are represented on a local, regional and national level. Members were also updated on the Chamber’s annual fundraising activities for Rosemere Cancer Foundation plus money raised through its Affinity Account with Furness Building Society.
