More than 350 members of the East Lancashire business community gathered at the home of Blackburn Rovers for the Lancashire Telegraph awards.
Lancashire Telegraph editor Kevin Young said: “Despite the continuing international recession companies across East Lancashire have shown tremendous enterprise, ingenuity and skill in finding new markets and new products. They have managed to grow and prosper in the most difficult of times – and that’s a great achievement.”
MDA Ltd, which has recently moved into a new £6.5m headquarters and is celebrating its 25th anniversary year, earned the highly coveted Business of the Year award.
