On the 30th of September, the Lancashire Health Matters team ran our first event since the start of the pandemic.
Focused on understanding commissioning and procurement in the NHS, the meeting also enabled companies to broaden their networks and business leads.
Thirty delegates heard from Aaron Cummings, CEO of Morecambe Bay Foundation Trust, on the commissioning of services from a Trust’s perspective. Also giving their insights on procurement were Sharon Robson and Mike Doyle, from the NHS Lancashire Procurement Cluster.
They were able to distil an extremely complex subject, so that businesses had some simple steps to take away, to ensure they could be ready to sell to the NHS.
