Lancashire firms pair up on new curtains website

A Preston-based home furnishings specialist has teamed up with a creative team from Samlesbury to help promote its increasingly popular curtains range.

Plumbs a specialist in furniture upholstery and other fabrics, has seen an increase in demand for its curtains and blinds ever since energy bills began to soar.

Now it has enlisted Stone Create to redevelop its website which is dedicated solely to its curtains, blinds and accessories. It also gives information on the Plumbs home fitting and made-to-measure services, which are facilitated through a UK-wide network of more than 90 consultants.

Sarah Page, managing director of Plumbs, said: "We’re confident this new platform will not only help to inspire our current customers, but also attract new audiences that would previously have gone elsewhere."
