New figures released by the government place three Lancashire further education colleges as the best in England, with two more in the country's top ten.
The findings have been published in the 2017/18 Education and Training National Achievement Rates Tables which rank learner success rates for 16 to 18 year olds.
Nelson and Colne College tops the table, with Burnley College and Blackpool and The Fylde College placing second and third. Runshaw College ranks 5th, Preston’s College ninth.
