Lancashire celebrates local food and drink

Around 100 foodies and food businesses met to celebrate the best of Lancashire food and drink.

The event, held at Stanley House Hotel and Spa in Mellor, included exhibitions from 25 suppliers and businesses, and demonstrations from some of the county’s biggest food names.

During the afternoon a chef from Stanley House completed a food demonstration, Lancashire Wine School gave a talk on wine, and Booths provided a talk on tea and coffee.

Ian Settle, director of commercial banking at NatWest with a specialism in supporting the leisure sector, said: “A Celebration of Food and Drink Lancashire Style has been a fantastic way for us to bring together suppliers, buyers and industry leaders from across the county to showcase and celebrate what we all do best. "There are a range of businesses in Lancashire supporting the industry in unique ways as this event exemplified just what we all do."
