Lancashire businesswomen are celebrating success this week following the Forward Ladies Women in Business Awards 2016.
Josie Linsel, president, director and chair of trustees at the University of Central Lancashire Students' Union in Preston won the rising star category. Josie is still a student at the university.
Keynote speaker at the event was Jo Fairley, founder of Green & Black’s chocolate, with sponsors Sue Tunmore, HR Director for Shared Services, Delivery & Operations at The Co-op, and Gayle Lacey, the Global Head of Business Management for Commercial Banking at HSBC also speaking.
“The award categories are a reflection not only of the types of businesses with which women are involved but also industries which need to attract and encourage young women to join for future growth and prosperity.
