The Lancashire Business Expo attracted more than 2,000 visitors on the day and 164 exhibitors filled two floors of the Guild Hall.
The event included a tweet wall which exhibitors and visitors fully exploited. In fact, it was so well used that the event hashtag was in the top 5 most used hashtags in the UK that day, and had more than 10 million reach during the event and was “trending” in the social media world!Napthens commented: "A brilliant day at The Lancashire Business Expo. Visitors were delighted and seemed to soak up the buzz of the event. Many commented on the eclectic mix of businesses they visited and how beneficial it was to meet so many organisations under one roof. Another comment frequently voiced was how friendly the atmosphere was.The Villa Group, owners of The Guild Hall created a pop-up food court in the atrium area of the Guild Hall and a variety of hot and cold food was served over the course of the event. So, the event organisers, the Shout Network, are now on with planning the 2016 Lancashire Business Expo, to build on the success of this year’s event. They’ve already had the majority of 2015 exhibitors rebooking for 2016 and have been inundated with other Lancashire organisations keen to get involved next year.
