More than 1,000 delegates attended The Lancashire Business Expo 2021, which took place at Preston Guild Hall on Friday the 24th of September.
More than 100 exhibitors, including local businesses, colleges, universities and the NHS Trust, joined together to demonstrate that Lancashire is open for business. Many organisations demonstrated how they had grown in strength during the pandemic and offered their products and services to the local business audience.
The event had previously been postponed due previous lockdowns, however it was well received by the local business community who supported the event throughout.
Delegates expressed a real appetite for the event and a return to the normality of face to face business events which had been placed on hold during the pandemic.
The event was officially opened by Barrie Yates, chair of Lancashire County Council during an exhibitors' breakfast event shortly before the doors opened to the general public.
Shout Network is currently in discussions with Preston City Council, the owners of Preston Guild Hall, to confirm dates for the 2022 Lancashire Business Exhibition which is likely to take place in March, returning to its pre-pandemic schedule.
