Lancashire Business Day will bring together and celebrate the county’s business community on Lancashire Day, November 27.
And the event, created by the team behind the national award-winning Red Rose Awards extravaganza, promises a night of Lancashire-themed entertainment, food and conversation.Michelin-starred chef Nigel Haworth of Northcote will create a unique menu and lead the kitchen at Lancashire Business Day.
Entertainment will be provided by BBC radio DJ John' Gilly' Gilmore, Top Hat Tours impresario Simon Entwistle, stand-up stalwart Barbara Nice and jazz, ska and New Orleans specialists Atomic Brass.The event is being staged by Lancashire Business View magazine in partnership with Marketing Lancashire, the county’s destination management association.
Richard Slater of Lancashire Business View said: “This is going to be one of the great nights in the county’s business calendar.“We don’t get many chances as a business community to come together, but our job is to connect the county and this new event will do just that.
“We want business to get to know each other and find ways of collaborating, buying and selling.“And we want to take the Lancashire business message to the world on Lancashire Business Day through a dedicated social media campaign.” Organisers are keeping tight-lipped on other elements of the evening, but promise a night of top-flight celebration and entertainment.
