Commercial property consultants Robert Pinkus & Co. LLP can report that Lancashire's largest building society, The Marsden, is moving to Garstang town centre.
Established in 1860, Marsden Building Society will take the fomer Mobility Smart shop at Unit 2 Cherestanc Square, Park Hill Road, adjacent to the Tourist Information Centre, Co-Op Pharmacy and Booths supermarket. The Marsden has signed a ten-year lease from landlords E H Booth & Co. Ltd. Robert Pinkus & Co. acted on behalf of the landlord.The new Garstang branch will be the company's 11th office in the County alongside Lytham, Lancaster and Clitheroe and will create four new jobs for the town.
