Two award-winning laboratory service providers who met at the Red Rose Awards have joined forces to offer a full relocation service.
Cleanroom manufacturer Connect2Cleanrooms, which has headquarters in Halton, and Chorley-based specialist laboratory relocation provider Andrew Porter Limited, have formed a partnership agreement.Connect2Cleanrooms already provides disassembly, relocation and revalidation of its modular cleanrooms, but the new partnership with Andrew Porter Limited will enable it to offer a full relocation service to include all contents of the cleanroom, such as instrumentation and cold chain materials.
Relocation of other laboratory spaces outside the cleanroom environment can also be provided, offering customers a turnkey solution.Andrew Porter Limited will be able to benefit customers through the partnership by providing modular cleanroom facilities, that could be used temporarily or part of a longer term proposition, for phased moves or where a decant into temporary premises is required as part of a larger relocation.
This service will further enhance the range of additional services already provided by the company, with Connect2Cleanrooms also assisting Andrew Porter Limited in the training of its operatives to specialist regulatory standards (ISO14644-1:1999 EU GGMP, and US Federal standards 209E, where appropriate).European sales director at Andrew Porter Limited, John Best, said: “We have a lot in common with Connect2Cleanrooms. We are both experts in our respective fields and are global companies which are headquartered in Lancashire, UK, so I am really pleased that we will be working together moving forward.
“The technical specialism we are able to offer to each other’s customers makes this a mutually beneficial partnership that enhances both firms’ service offerings.”Joe Govier, managing director of Connect2Cleanrooms, said: “We first met with Andrew Porter Limited when we were both winners at this year’s Red Rose Awards. It is fantastic that the winning did not stop there for either of us and that this partnership will benefit both firms and our customer base now and into the future.” Both companies already provide services for some of the world’s leading names that operate functional laboratories for research, development and analytical purposes.
