KeyFleet are hosting a charity snooker event on the 7th July at the Elite Snooker Hall in Lostock Hall as part of the East Lancashire Hospice Corporate Challenge.
MD Marc McLoughlin's family have a long history in snooker and this event is a nod to that heritage.
Marc said: "This event is close to my heart as my old man, John McLoughlin, was involved in snooker, bookmaking and, you've guessed it, bingo!
"When he used to own snooker halls, in particular Centre Cue and Cue Two in Blackburn, they used to run a regular Saturday morning compeition - The 6-Ball Flyer...
"My dad, or Bingo to his mates, passed away at just 57 years old way back in 1992 - by which time snooker was in decline and business was tough - but the 6-Ball Flyer on a Saturday morning was always popular.
"On the 7th of July the 6-Ball Flyer makes its long-awaited return in an effort to raise funds for the East Lancashire Hospice as part of their 2022 corporate challenge!"
32 players. Eight tables. Six reds. One winner.
"Also fitting is that one of the pro's that my dad used to manage, Shokat Ali, has kindly agreed to host the event at his snooker hall - The Elite in Lostock Hall - we would love to see you there.
"It's £25 to enter and there will be a raffle plus food/drink is available to purchase at the venue.
"Proceeds are going to the East Lancashire Hospice which is an amazing organisation and who did a great job looking after my mum too in her time of need."
