Law firm KBL has appointed solicitor Paul Formby to its growing insolvency department.
Paul will work primarily from the firm's Blackburn office and will advise on all aspects of insolvency.
He is well versed in handling issues arising from contentious and non-contentious matters and regularly acts for Insolvency Practitioners in the protection, investigation into and realisation of assets as well as advising individuals in relation to issues arising from insolvency.
Kathryn Maclennan, partner and head of department, said: "Since establishing the department early last year we have seen a steady increase in the demand for specialist insolvency advice. The team is growing rapidly, and this is indicative of our desire to increase KBL’s work in this area.
"Paul is very highly regarded, particularly for his experience in providing strategic advice to company directors in relation to their statutory duties and I know he’ll provide great support to clients and be a real asset to the team."
