Road maintenance specialist Kays is to upgrade its fleet and recruit a new trainee to meet the growing demand for its services.
Throughout the lockdown, the Blackburn-based firm has been involved in a number of projects on the roads and in town centres, including painting NHS rainbows.
Kays is now set to upgrade its fleet of vehicles, including the purchase of a new eighteen tonne traffic management impact protection vehicle, plus twenty-five new traffic management vans.
In addition, the company has recruited a trainee traffic management planning technician who completed his A Levels this summer.
Shaun Hargreaves, commercial director of KAYS said: “We’re thrilled to reveal the announcement of our all-new and improved fleet.
"As a direct product of our hard work and determination throughout the pandemic, the new vehicles will allow us to continue to deliver exceptional traffic management services while keeping the public safe on the roads, and ultimately, to assist the country in moving forward."
