Fleetwood-based Jones Harris Chartered Accountants has appointed Stewart Case to its board of directors.

Stewart joins founding directors Charles Bryning and Alan Newbold, who this year are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the company. Third director Martin Wigley joined the team in May 1997.Stewart brings experience in the corporate market, joining the team from Moore and Smalley, where he managed a large portfolio of SME clients in the corporate audit department.
Stewart also has industrial experience, having started his career as an engineering apprentice at BNFL then deciding that he would like a career change and retraining as an accountant. He was also managing director of his own engineering business before dedicating his time to accountancy.
