Lancashire Business View's Jacob Knowles is in the running for a national award after his Empine Group topped a strong regional shortlist.

Empine is now through to the national final of the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards in the Young Entrepreneur of the Year category.Should Empine triumph at the finals, they will join an impressive of previous winners including David Buttress of Just Eat, Julie Deane of The Cambridge Satchel Company, James Watt of BrewDog and Alexander Solomou of TheLADBible Group. Jacob, 23, said: “To be shortlisted in such a prestigious award is an absolute honour for me and Anthony. We see this as a great opportunity to look at how far we have come in the last two years and to be thankful to our clients up and down the UK that have trusted us to work with them.”
